The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has however rejected former India captain Gavaskar's claim that he hasn't been paid
for his services to the IPL.
BCCI secretary N Srinivasan told NDTV that the board (BCCI) had already paid him 1 crore a year for 3 years.
He went on to say that Mr Gavaskar's claim that he was promised 5 crore a year may be true but there is no written contract to prove that, he also said that the BCCI rejected Mr Gavaskar's demand for more money in it's AGM.
