Kimberley:
"We thought the wicket would remain same but it wasn't. There was too much dew in the evening and we gave 15 runs extra on this track. It was turning.
"The plan was to have one lefty stay there till the end and that's exactly what Hayden did. We made it look easy but it was tough," Dhoni said after the match
Dhoni also praised S Badrinath, who scored a masterly 59 to play a big part in their team's win.
"Hayden was brilliant and Badri made the most of the opportunity to bat up the order. We need to improve fielding but overall I am happy with the performance."
Losing skipper Shane Warne too praises Chennai batsmen.
"I think we were 20 runs short and left too much for ourselves in the end. But it was a fighting total and we fought all the way. Chennai showed their class. They batted brilliantly. "We are playing good and will keep winning to be in semis," Warne said.
S Badrinath gave credit of his good batting to his Australian teammate Matthew Hayden, from who he got tips to handle dangerous Warne.
"Credit goes to Hayden. He has played a lot with Warne, so he knows how to handle him. His tips were very useful. I had to stay on the wicket and batted with patience. But then I played my natural shots," he said.
