AUS vs WI, 3rd ODI, Live Updates
We are back for the chase. Out come Jake Fraser-McGurk and Josh Inglis. Alzarri Joseph has the new ball in hand. Here we go...
... RUN CHASE ...
Australia couldn't have asked for a better performance. They were just brilliant with the ball right from the word go. The seamers made the most of the swing available. Xavier Bartlett was the star again as he ended with four wickets. Lance Morris too bowled well but got injured midway after taking 2 wickets. Overall, it was just what you expect from an Aussie side and a whitewash is certain on the cards. Stay tuned for the chase shortly.
A disappointing display of batting from West Indies! The first two outings were bad but this was even worse. Not they would have hoped in the start. West Indies started well, lost just one wicket in the first 10 overs but then three in the next five. Suddenly, in the next 10 overs, they lost the other 5 wickets. There was everything, poor batting, poor shot selection and poor communication between the wickets as well.
OUT! GONE! That is the end! This is full and wide of off. Alzarri Joseph swings and hits it to deep cover but mistimes and Aaron Hardie makes no mistake in the deep. THE WINDIES ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 86.
Flatter and on leg. Oshane Thomas keeps it out.
Too full and on leg, Oshane Thomas misses his flick. This time it was outside the line.
Oshane Thomas is the last man in.
OUT! LBW! Motie has been given out LBW but he reviews. This is very full and around leg, Motie looks to sweep it but misses and gets hit on the pads. Only pitching could help him here. Ball Tracking shows it is in the line and it is THREE REDS AS WELL. Adam Zampa gets his second wicket. Even 100 looks far away from here.
Flat and around off, Motie hangs back and blocks it out.
A big full toss on off, Motie punches it to cover.
Flat and on leg, Joseph tucks it to square leg for a single.
Length and outside off, Motie shoulders arms to it.
FIVE WIDES! Rare poor delivery! Well down the leg side and swings more away. Motie misses his flick and it goes past the keeper to fine leg.
Gudakesh Motie to bat now.
OUT! GONE! What a series Xavier Bartlett is having. The last known batter goes. Shorter and onto the body. Chase gets in a tangle as he tries to pull, hits it to deep square leg where Jake Fraser-McGurk takes an easy catch.
On the middle, this is blocked out.
Length and outside off, this is knocked through point for a single.
On a length and outside off, Joseph lofts it over covers with soft hands and takes a couple of runs.
Outside off, this is guided to third man for a single.
