Now then! West Indies need a good opening stand to lay the foundation. They have a lot of time but Australia will have their tail up. They will look for wickets straightaway. Let's see if West Indies can end Day 2 without any bumps.
Australia lost Green right in the start of Day 2 but the man of the hour, Travis Head batted brilliantly to get his 7th ton in the Test match. Despite losing wickets, he played his aggressive game and got the deficit cut out. The tail didn't add much as West Indies were consistent enough to take wickets regularly. Shamar Joseph as told before, ended with five wickets on his debut while Justin Greaves and Kemar Roach ended with two each.
A kiss on the badge as Shamar Joseph leads his team out with the red-cherry in his hand. What a moment for the debutant. A five-fer against a prime Aussie team is what you always dream of. So, Australia have added around 23 runs and have ended with a lead of 95 runs. Recap of what happened quickly - The idea to open with Steven Smith didn't work this time as Shamar Joseph got the big wicket on his very first ball. He followed it with the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne as well. Usman Khawaja was dropped on 3 in the slips and he went onto make 45 runs.
OUT! BOWLED! On a length and around off, swings in late. Cummins tries to drive it straight but leaves a big gap open for the ball to travel. It crashes the stumps. Australia are bowled out for 283.
Josh Hazlewood is the last man in.
OUT! BOWLED! Five-fer on debut for Joseph. Keep an eye on this young man! He will be the name you will see on the West Indies sheet most often now. Superb delivery. This is full and on middle and leg. Lyon tries to flick it away but misses and it crashes the stumps. What a moment for Shamar Joseph.
SIX! OVER THE FIELDER! Short and onto the body. Lyon pulls it to deep square leg, even Shamar Joseph had his hand spread wide, anticipating that will go in the hands of Roach but Lyon hits it well above him.
Length and angling on middle, Lyon turns it through square leg for a couple of runs.
Length and on off. Lyon punches it back to Shamar Joseph who does well to stop on his follow-through.
This is way outside off. Lyon shoulders arms to it.
On a length and outside off, shapes away. Lyon has a poke at it but misses.
Second new ball is available now and West Indies wants a bite of it straightaway. Shamar Joseph to handle it first.
A single as Lyon hits it to deep square leg.
Bowls it on the hips. Cummins nudges it to square leg for a single.

Outside off, this is guided through covers for a single.
Very full and on middle. Lyon pushes it straight back to Justin Greaves. It was hit in the air but too close to the deck as well.
