Nagpur:
Australia came to the aid of World Cup rivals New Zealand on Wednesday when the Black Caps physio returned to his earthquake-shattered home in Christchurch.
Veteran batsman Scott Styris said that Dayle Shackel planned to stay in New Zealand for a week before coming back to India.
"Unfortunately the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) won't let us borrow their Kiwi-born academy physio whilst ours heads back to chch to take care of his demolished house," Styris wrote on his Twitter account.
"The Aussies will help us out tomo and management have a plan B. So we're all good, help is on the way."
New Zealand and Australia meet in a World Cup group match in Nagpur on Friday.
