Anil Kumble's West Indies tour started with a hiccup. When the head coach of Indian cricket team landed in St Kitts after a long flight from London, he realised that British Airways had left his kits at Gatwick airport.
British Airways apologised to Kumble in a witty style. BA took to Twitter to regret the incident and promised to 'bowl over' Kumble with its service.
@anilkumble1074 We're sorry your bags are 'not out' to St Kitts! They have been 'caught behind' your flight from Gatwick. We are looking 1/2

@anilkumble1074 to 'bowl' you over with our service recovery. 2/2

This is not the first time that cricketers have landed minus their kits. During hectic tours that involves multiple flights, kits do get left behind due to logistics issues.
Once a ODI match between India and Australia in 1984 got abandoned in Jamshedpur due to missing kits. The Aussie players landed in Jamshedpur but their clothes did not. They finally arrived by road from Kolkata.
This is Kumble's maiden assignment with the Indian cricket team as head coach. Travel to West Indies is always a tiring affair. But the team was in great spirits with their new coach.
