England's stand-in captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth one-day international against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday.
Morgan was leading the tourists after regular skipper Alastair Cook was suspended for one match due to his team's slow over-rate in the previous match in Hambantota.
Cook was replaced by James Taylor with England needing a win to level the seven-match series 2-2.
