Commonwealth Games 2014: Indian Star Dipika Pallikal Loses in Squash
Dipika Pallikal began well winning the first game 11-8 but lost the next three 2-11, 9-11, 6-11 to English Alison Waters in the women's singles quarterfinal at the Commonwealth Games 2014.

While Mahesh Mangaonkar and Anaka Alankamony notched up wins in their respective matches, India's star squash player Dipika Pallikal faltered at the Commonwealth Games here Saturday.
Mangaonkar entered the men's classic plate quarter-finals by defeating Welsh Peter Creed 3-0 at the Scotstoun Sports Campus. The Indian won 11-7, 11-6, 11-6 in the Round of 16 and will play Nick Taylor of Jersey Sunday.
Later Anaka won her women's plate quarterfinal 3-0, defeating Eli Webb of Papua New Guinea 3-0 (11-4, 11-1, 11-2). The 20-year-old has now proceeded to the semi-finals where she will take on Sri Lanka's Mihiliya Methsarani.

India's Saurav Ghosal will take on New Zealand's Campbell Grayson in the men's singles quarterfinal later in the day.
