Manu Attri-Sumeeth Reddy Regain Career-Best World No. 17 Ranking
Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy regained their career-best ranking of 17 on the back of their maiden Grand Prix title win at the Mexico Open

Riding on their maiden Grand Prix title triumph at the Mexico Open, Indian men's doubles pair Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy on Friday jumped three spots to regain their career-best ranking of World No. 17 in the latest BWF rankings. While Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu continued to be static at World No. 2 and World No. 12 respectively, Kidambi Srikanth, Parupalli Kashyap and H S Prannoy also remained at World No. 9, 15 and 20 spots respectively.
Manu and Summeth, who defeated Thailand's Bodin Issara and Nipitphon Puangpuapech in Mexico last weekend, had last achieved the World No. 17 ranking in August.
Among others, women's doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa slipped a place to 14th, while Ajay Jayaram gained a place to be 21st after his quarter-final appearance in Mexico in men's singles.
