Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson is set to return to One-Day International (ODI) cricket after a break of over a month and will play in the tri-series final hereon Sunday.
Johnson said the break was a much needed one, specially after the "tough" tour in the United Arab Emirates against Pakistan.
"I needed a fair bit of a rest. It'd probably been a big 12 months personally but for all the bowlers as well. The UAE was quite tough. Coming into Australia the wickets were a little bit flatter than we expected. The body now is fully recovered and ready to go," Johnson was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
The 33-year-old said that he is now ready to make a come-back into the team and is looking forward to playing in the tri-series final.
"I'm feeling pretty good. I'm feeling rested. I don't have any soreness there anymore, so I'm feeling pretty good. It'll be nice to play on a nice fast, bouncy wicket again. I'm looking forward to getting out there," said Johnson, who has 221 wickets from 144 ODI's.
Australia will play England in the final after India failed to make the summit clash.
