Asian Games: Vikas Gowda Wins Discus Silver

Incheon, South Korea:
India's Vikas Gowda finished second to claim silver in the men's discus throw final at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon on Tuesday. (Day 11 blog | Tally)
Gowda's best throw of 62.58 metres came on the second of his six attempts at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. (Asian Games controversy: Korean robs Sarita Devi of win in boxing semis)
Iran's Ehsan Hadadi won gold with a best throw of 65.11m while Qatar's Mohammed Ahmed Dheeb took home the bronze with 61.25m.
