Sachin stays second-highest run-getter in 2011 World Cup
Sachin Tendulkar got out for 18 in the World Cup final against Sri Lanka on Saturday and missed out on being the highest run-getter in the tournament.

Sachin Tendulkar got out for 18 in the World Cup final against Sri Lanka on Saturday and missed out on being the highest run-getter in the tournament.
Sachin edged a Lasith Malinga delivery to wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara to fell 19 runs short of Sri Lankan opener Tillakaratne Dilshan's 500 runs in the tournament. Tendulkar ended his Cup campaign with 482 runs from nine matches.
Sachin will have to wait for his hundredth international century.
Sachin, a veteran of six World Cups, was the leading run-getter in the 1996 and 2003 editions.
