Kiwis sweat over ill McCullum
New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum was admitted to hospital on Friday after complaining of illness and is a doubt for the Black Caps' World Cup opener against Kenya on Sunday.

New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum was admitted to hospital on Friday after complaining of illness and is a doubt for the Black Caps' World Cup opener against Kenya on Sunday.
"McCullum reported to medical staff that he felt unwell late yesterday (Thursday) and it was discovered that he had a high temperature so was taken to the local hospital in Chennai where he spent the night," said a team statement.
"Although McCullum is improving and feeling better he remains in hospital under observation and is expected to be discharged tomorrow morning."
The 30-year-old elder brother of opening batsman Brendon has played just 19 international one-dayers.
