Four arrested in connection with betting racket
Four persons were arrested on Friday on charges of betting during the World Cup match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

Four persons were arrested on Friday on charges of betting during the World Cup match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at the residence of one Nagesh Rangrej here and seized Rs 95,100, three mobile phones and two motor cycles.
Besides Rangrej, three others were also arrested, police said. With this the number of those arrested in connection with the betting racket has gone up to 25.
