Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi rates Saturday's thrilling 11-run win over Sri Lanka at the World Cup as a "big one" but is frustrated with his side's error-prone performance in the field.
Afridi says his teammates will return home early if they do not improve their fielding, after dropping at least three clear catches in the Group A game. Wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal also missed a stumping chance with Kumar Sangakkara.
Pakistan scored 277-7 before Afridi led from the front with 4-34 to restrict Sri Lanka to 266-9, despite blunders by his fielders.
Afridi says the tournament gets tougher and tougher and "I think we must improve or else such fielding will not help our cause."
The captain- playing his 314th ODI- also reached the 300-wicket milestone in one-day internationals.
