Somdev Devvarman could not qualify for the Wimbledon singles but that did not stop him from rising a rung to career best 103 in the latest ATP list issued on Monday.
Somdev fell in the second round of the Wimbledon qualifiers but made it to the men's doubles main draw along with Treat Conrad Huey of Philippines.
Talented youngster Yuki Bhambri remained static on 390.
Senior pros Leander Paes (6) and Mahesh Bhupathi (7) had their rankings unchanged in the doubles chart.
Rohan Bopanna slid to 52 with a loss of one slot.
Meanwhile, Sania Mirza also improved her ranking by two positions as she reached 111 but lost two places in doubles to be at 92.
