It was only a quarterfinal match but looking at the long list of high profile spectators, one could have easily mistaken the Serena Williams versus Venus Williams clash to be the final of US Open 2015. After all, reality TV star Kim Kardarshian, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and US Presidential candidate Donald Trump were only a part of the starry Tuesday night in New York. (Match report)
Serena versus Venus match was one of the most eagerly awaited clashes of US Open 2015. While world No. 1 Venus eventually beat her sister to stay on course for a calendar Grand Slam, thousands of eyes kept sneaking away from the on-court action and into the celebrity section in the spectator box. Kim may have walked away with the maximum attention, closely followed by Trump and Oprah.

Wearing a brown top with white trousers, a pregnant Kim was accompanied by sister Kendall Jenner. Her presence here shouldn't have really come as a surprise as US media has previously reported that the television and social media personality has been giving advice to Serena on how to win over rapper Drake - her apparent love interest. In any case, Kim and Serena have been close friends for some time now and watching the tennis star win the match must have elated Kim.

Oprah was not too far away from the action - and the limelight either. She was seen sitting with television anchor Gayle King and Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe - wife of late tennis star Arthur Ashe.
Trump looked the most relaxed. After all, watching tennis would have come as a welcome break from US presidential race - one that is hotting up almost as quickly as the US Open action itself. He was accompanied by his wife Melania Knauss-Trump.

The other known faces watching the tennis battle included former boxing champion Laila Ali, actor Aziz Ansari and former Tennis superstar John McEnroe.
