Olivier Rochus won the first all-Belgian men's final of the Open Era on Sunday, beating Kristof Vliegen 6-4, 6-2 at the BMW Open.

Munich: Olivier Rochus won the first all-Belgian men's final of the Open Era on Sunday, beating Kristof Vliegen 6-4, 6-2 at the BMW Open.Rochus took advantage of numerous errors by the unseeded Vliegen, who looked nervous in his second career final.a€œI have waited a long time for this moment,'' the fifth-seeded Rochus said.Rochus' fifth career final was the first pitting two Belgian men against each other since the Open Era began in 1968. His singles title was the first by a Belgian man in more than a year.The world's 30th-ranked player won $56,000 and a sports car.The tournament officials said attendance was up and the event turned a profit by increasing the number of German players at the clay-court event.
