Kiefer earns Wimbledon wild card

Nicolas Kiefer of Germany is one of five players to be handed a wild card into the men's draw at Wimbledon, which starts on June 21.
The No. 181-ranked Kiefer reached the Australian Open semifinals in 2006 and is joined by Russian pair Teimuraz Gabashvili and Andrey Kuznetsov, Britain's Jamie Baker and Japan's Kei Nishikori in being handed entry into the Grand Slam tournament.
Four British women _ Katie O'Brien, Melanie South, Laura Robson and Heather Watson _ were also given wild cards on Monday.
