India's Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi stormed into the quarterfinals of the doubles competition of the Wimbledon with an impressive straight set victory over Lukas Lacko of Slovakia and Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine here on Monday.
Bopanna and Qureshi beat Lacko and Stakhovsky 7-5, 7-6(7-4), 6-2 in a third round match.
Indian ace Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy had crashed out of the doubles event in the second round while Somdev Devvarman and Treat Conrad Huey of Philippines had lost in the opening round to Bopanna and Qureshi.
Another Indian Mahesh Bhupathi and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi, seeded fourth, are still in the fray and they play Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau in the pre-quarterfinals.
Bopanna and Qureshi beat Lacko and Stakhovsky 7-5, 7-6(7-4), 6-2 in a third round match.
