Hong Kong:
The Indian campaign in the Hong Kong Open, season's first major PSA World Tour event, ended with the exit of Joshna Chinappa in the second round in Hong Kong on Thursday.
The eighth seeded Omneya Abdel Kawy of Egypt needed just 24 minutes to finish Joshna's stay on court with scores of 11-8, 12-10, 11-4 and earn a berth in the quarterfinal round.
Other Indians in the fray, Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal, had lost in the opening round on Wednesday.
