J&K's pace spearhead Auqib Nabi wins the 'Player of the Series' award. No doubt that he is the breakthrough player of the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season. 60 wickets in 10 matches, 7 fifers at an average of 12.56! An India debut is surely knocking on the door.

Left-handed batter Shubham Pundir wins the 'Player of the Match' award for his century in the first innings. His knock of 121 was the leading effort as Jammu and Kashmir posted 584 batting first, which ultimately was a total too big for Karnataka.

Jammu and Kashmir made their first appearance in the Ranji Trophy in the 1959-60 season. 67 years later, they are the champions of India's premier domestic competition. Once nothing more than a punching bag for the bigger teams, this year's shown that J&K are set to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

Shubham Pundir slammed a century in the first innings. Qamran Iqbal smashed 160 in the second innings. Sahil Lotra made 72 in the first innings, 101* in the second. Captain Paras Dogra, Abdul Samad, Yawer Hassan and Kanhaiya Wadhawan hit half-centuries too. And what about their effort with the ball? Pace spearhead Auqib Nabi delivered another masterclass in the final, taking 5 wickets. Sunil Kumar and Yudhvir Singh took 2 each, while Abid Mushtaq was economical. A complete incredible victory, with several contributions, over 8-time champs Karnataka!

He missed out in the first innings, but now he's batting on 95. Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal is going to bowl an over too! Qamran smashes him for a maximum, as the over goes for 10.

This could be a historic day for Jammu and Kashmir. Considered minnows in the Indian domestic cricket fraternity, J&K have gone all the way to the final. On Day 4, J&K secured the all-important first innings lead, which will decide the game if no result is achieved by the end of Day 5.

As it stands, J&K are 186/4 in their second innings, and have a mammoth lead of 477 over Karnataka.
