Karachi:
Olympian Shakeel Abbasi, who had been asked to leave the camp for fasting during training, has been asked to rejoin the preparations for the forthcoming Asia Cup in Malaysia.
A Pakistan Hockey Federation official on Friday informed that the chief coach Akhtar Rasool, who had expelled Abbasi from the training camp after he had come to training while fasting, has asked the forward to rejoin the camp.
"The matter has been sorted out and Abbasi has been told to attend the training again," the official said.
The camp is being held in the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
