About Garima Chaudhary

Garima Chaudhary is India's lone participant in judo as she made the cut in the 63kg category on the basis of the latest rankings released by the International Judo Federation. This 22-year old judoka from Meerut recently finished seventh at the recent Asian Judo Championships at Tashkent. Garima Chaudhary is ranked 88th in her category with 34 points.

In 2007, Garima won a gold at the Junior Asian Championships. In the same championship, she clinched a silver and a bronze in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In 2009 she bagged a bronze in 2009 Martial Art Games.

She also bagged gold in 2006 South Asian Games.
