Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 30 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday. RCB have faced five defeats and only won once this season. They are reeling at the bottom of the IPL 2024 standings with two points. On the other hand, SRH finds themselves in fifth position on the points table with six points. Out of the five matches they have won three and lost two.
Let's look at both sides' predicted XIs ahead of a southern derby clash.
RCB Predicted XI
Virat Kohli

Faf du Plessis (captain)
South African veteran Faf du Plessis announced himself in the ongoing IPL 2024 season with a 61-run knock against Mumbai Indians in the previous game. Like Kohli, Faf too has had a good record against SRH and would be eager to be among the runs in the upcoming match.
Glenn Maxwell
Glenn Maxwell has struggled to find his form with the bat this season. He has picked up four wickets with the ball but has only managed to score 32 runs in six matches and will be hoping to replicate his IPL 2023 success this year.
Rajat Patidar
Rajat Patidar will add depth to Bengaluru's middle-order batting lineup. He has scored 100 runs in five innings, including a quickfire 26-ball 50 in his last outing against the Mumbai Indians.
Cameron Green

Mahipal Lomror

Reece Topley
England speedster Reece Topley will most likely open the bowling for Bengaluru against SRH. Known for his ability to swing and generate bounce, Topley's variation with the ball has seen him earn three scalps in as many games.
Vyshak Vijaykumar
With a decent economy of 7.85, Vyshak Vijaykumar has bagged two wickets in as many matches this season. He would be raring to improve to take his wickets tally up by a notch come Monday.
Mohammed Siraj
Leaking runs at 10.40, Mohammed Siraj has been struggling with the ball this season. He has taken only four wickets in six matches and will be eyeing a quick comeback, considering a spot in Team India's squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Yash Dayal
Yash Dayal will spearhead the RCB fast-bowling in the powerplay overs against SRH. Dayal's ability to deceive batters with his pace has seen him claim five wickets in as many matches.
