With teams jostling for the four playoff berths, Sunrisers, who are on 14 points, will look to steal a march on some of their competitors with a win. Meanwhile, Punjab are already out of contention and will be playing for pride.
Hyderabad had defeated Kings XI in Hyderabad by five wickets and will look to emulate the result away from home, which will all but assure them of a playoff spot.
SRH have been re-energised by the return of Yuvraj Singh and Kane Williamson from injuries. Add to that Shikhar Dhawan's revival, makes SRH are a team to be feared.
Captain David Warner has led from the front and is third in the 'Orange Cap' race with 515 runs. Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman has been a revelation this season but had a poor outing against Delhi. He will look to bounce bag with a bang and Punjab batsmen could be on the receiving end.
Punjab, who are lying in seventh place with four wins from 11 outings, pulled off a comprehensive seven-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians at Visakhapatnam on Friday night.
The victory will surely give the struggling side a much-needed boost and the David Warner-led SRH will be wary of the fact that Punjab will be difficult to tackle on their home turf.
