Weir, Park win Buddha Cup

Canadian Mike Weir and partner Grace Park of South Korea won the inaugural Buddha Cup Challenge skins match.

Canadian Mike Weir and partner Grace Park of South Korea won the inaugural Buddha Cup Challenge skins match over the pairing of LPGA champion Annika Sorenstam and top Chinese golfer Zhang Lian-wei on Saturday in Beijing. Grace Park's birdie at the 16th clinched the win for herself and Weir in the one-day skins match played at Beijing's Taiwei Sports Resort. It was the first-ever visit to China for Weir, who plans to play in the Chrysler Classic in Florida later this month and then the Tour Championship in Atlanta the first week in November. (AP)
