Vijay Singh carded a two-under 69 to win the Deutsche Bank Championship and replace Tiger Woods as the top-ranked golfer in the world.
Singh finished the event at 16-under-par 268 for his sixth victory of the season.
With this win, Singh has pocketed $9,00,000.
Woods, who held the No. 1 ranking for 264 consecutive weeks, posted a 69 to tie for second along with last year's champion Adam Scott at 13-under-par 271.
Woods had spent 334 weeks overall atop the rankings, but a drought in the majors and a lone victory this year has dropped him from the top.
