London:

Mark Webber has signed with Formula One team Red Bull for next season, replacing Christian Klien. Webber, who will finish this season with Williams, failed to reach an agreement with that team and was signed quickly by Red Bull. He will team with David Coulthard. "Looking to Mark, we chose him for a number of straightforward reasons," team director Christian Horner. "One, he obviously has undoubted speed and ability, and two, he appears to have the determination and motivation needed to succeed." Klien has raced for two seasons with Red Bull. (AP)
