European football's governing body UEFA on Wednesday fined FC Porto 20,000 euros ($26,344) for its supporters' "racist conduct" during a match against Manchester City.
"The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body has imposed a fine of 20,000 euros on FC Porto for the racist conduct of their supporters at their UEFA Europa League round of 32 first-leg match against Manchester City FC in Porto on 16 February," it said in a statement.
City had complained that Mario Balotelli and Yaya Toure were the target of racist chants during the English side's 2-1 victory over the defending champions at Estadio do Dragao.
