The women's football matches of the ongoing 34th National Games, which were suspended on Monday over affiliation of the Tripura squad, will take place from Tuesday, an official of the National Games co-ordinating committee (NGCC), said here.
Capt. Amitabh, covenor of NGCC, said he had a talk with the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) secretary Kushal Das, who allowed him to include Tripura in the interest of the Games.
Amitabh said Das has assured to resolve the issue related to Tripura's affiliation.
Meanwhile, NGCC has convened a meeting of all team managers to finalise the fixture, which is likely to be redrawn following Tripura's entry.
