Bundesliga sides Stuttgart and Nuremberg have been fined

Berlin:

Bundesliga sides Stuttgart and Nuremberg have been fined €7,000 ($9,560) and €2,000 ($2,730) respectively by the German football association (DFB) for fan behavior.

Stuttgart was punished because fans lit firecrackers in games at home to Cologne in November and away at Borussia Dortmund in January.

Nuremberg was fined for a breach of security when a fan ran onto the pitch in the home game against Borussia Moenchengladbach in January.

Both sides have agreed to pay the fines.

Stuttgart host Nuremberg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
