Shaarawy to renew contract with AC Milan until 2018

Shaarawy has scored 15 goals in 22 Serie A appearances this season, and has been linked with a move to a host of other top European clubs.

Milan:

Stephan El Shaarawy's agent has confirmed that the Italian striker will renew his contract with AC Milan till 2018.

The 20-year-old youngster only renewed his previous agreement in July until 2017, but he's now set to extend that by a further 12 months, reports Xinhua.

"In the next few days I will talk to Milan to formalise the renewal until 2018," his agent Roberto La Florio said.

Shaarawy, who has scored 15 goals in 22 Serie A appearances this season, is set to have his current 800,000 euros a season salary increased.
