The 100th edition of Copa America is being played in the United States.
South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) president Alejandro Dominguez said that Brazil will host the Copa America 2019.
"Brazil will be a very good seat for the Copa America 2019," said Dominguez in a report published on Tuesday on the website of Conmebol, which is based in Asuncion, Paraguay.
This will see the regional football tournament return to Brazil, which last hosted the Copa America in 1989, while having organised it three more times in 1919, 1922 and 1949.
Asked about the ongoing Copa America Centenario in the US, Dominguez praised the host nation for being "as beautiful as Chile last year and as Brazil will be in 2019."
The Paraguayan executive said that people "were enjoying" the tournament and expressed his confidence that "the level of play will rise and will be seen by all".
The Copa America Centenario marks the 100th anniversary of the first Copa America.
