Matt Moussilou scored two goals on Sunday to help Lille beat French league leaders Lyon 2-1.

Matt Moussilou scored two goals on Sunday to help Lille beat French league leaders Lyon 2-1, handing the three-time defending champions their first defeat in the French first division since last May. Lyon pulled a goal back in the 77th minute through a Pernambucano Juninho penalty but they were unable to capitalise on their greater possession. They still head the league on 45 points but now lead second-placed Lille by just three points. (AP)
