French international Kevin Gameiro has joined Sevilla from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of 10 million euros ($13.2 million, £8.6 million), the Spanish club confirmed on Thursday.
"French striker Kevin Gameiro has today become a new Sevilla player after passing a medical and signing his new contract which ties him to the club for the next five seasons," said a statement on Sevilla's website.
Gameiro joined PSG two years ago after scoring over 50 goals in just three seasons for Lorient.
However, he found his opportunities limited last season after the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and had been pushed further down the pecking order when the big-spending French champions confirmed the singing of Edison Cavani for 64 million euros last week.
