India to play football friendly vs Nepal in Chennai on November 19

India would now be playing on both the FIFA dates in November 2013 after a friendly against the Philippines on November 15 was confirmed earlier.

All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Thursday confirmed another international friendly for the Indian national football team against Nepal on November 19 in Chennai.

India would now be playing on both the FIFA dates in November 2013 after a friendly against the Philippines on November 15 was confirmed earlier.

As per the October FIFA Rankings, Sunil Chhetri-led India are ranked at 154 while Nepal are at 165.

Between them, India and Nepal have played 14 international matches with India winning nine matches. Nepal have won three matches, including their 2-1 victory in the 2013 SAFF Championships in Kathmandu when the two teams last met.

Two matches have ended in a draw.
