Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas will miss Spain's friendly against Colombia on Wednesday as he is suffering from an upset stomach, the Spanish Football Federation announced on Monday.
The midfielder played in the Gunners 4-4 draw at Newcastle on Saturday but fell ill after that and it was decided that he would stay behind in London and not travel to Spain for the match.
The World Cup winners have lost their last two games going down 4-1 to Argentina and 4-0 to Portugal.
