Tottenham have so far won nine matches, losing only twice and with 35 points, they are only one point short of third placed Manchester Ciy. They face 11th placed Everton on Sunday.
"We've made a good start to the season but it's only halfway. We're confident and the three wins on the trot has been important for us. We've just got to try to do more of the same. It's a bit of a strange season in the Premier League as everyone is beating everyone so we have to stay focused and continue doing our jobs," Kane told tottenhamhotspur.com.
"The closer you are to the top of the table as the season progresses, the more pressure people will put on you but we're focused, we're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, we know what we need to do -- keep working and try to get better," Kane, who has scored 10 goals in the last 10 EPL games, added.
"We've a great team, a young team playing with a lot of energy, exciting to watch. We're also confident and we know if we play well, the results will follow. We'll see where that takes us."
Turning his focus on the Everton game, the 22-year-old England international said: "They are a good team, lots of good players and they will want to put things right after their defeat against Stoke City.
"Again, we have to stay focused on our game and that's what we always do, it's about us and what we need to do. It will probably be an open game. It was the same at the Lane earlier in the season even though it ended up 0-0. I think it might well be a similar game but hopefully we'll score a couple this time!"
