Dakar:
Ghana's soccer coach has resigned because of ill health, the Ghana Football Association said on its Web site Sunday.
Serbian Ratomir Dujkovic left capital Accra on Friday, the association said. His two-year contract was set to expire in December.
The association said the 60-year-old coach submitted a letter Thursday saying he was leaving because of his health, but did not provide further details.
The association said it would make a formal statement on Wednesday.
Under Dujkovic's watch, Ghana's Black Stars debuted at the World Cup with victories over much-higher ranked teams including the Czech Republic and the United States.
