Ancelotti insists Bale's disc bulge in his back is not the reason he has missed games this season, instead blaming his "lack of preseason training" that led to his left hamstring pull.

Madrid:

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says new winger Gareth Bale is fit and ready to play against Malaga in the Spanish league on Saturday.

Ancelotti says "Bale is available for tomorrow," with critical games against Juventus in the Champions League and the season's first clasico at Barcelona coming next week.

Ancelotti insists Bale's disc bulge in his back is not the reason he has missed games this season, instead blaming his "lack of preseason training" that led to his left hamstring pull.

The Italian manager says Karim Benzema is doubtful after picking up a knock during training.

Ancelotti also says he "needs to talk" with Iker Casillas after the goalkeeper said he may consider leaving if he doesn't play more.
