Chennai:
Fifa.com is the place to go in cyberspace if you want to know everything about the FIFA world cup and football. And while India has not qualified for the World Cup, a Chennai-based IT company has scored a goal with FIFA.
Changepond Technologies has signed a long-term contract to create, host and manage fifa.com.
"There is a lot of excitement in our work areas. Sometimes it seems that there is more work behind the scenes. We do have our mini crises also at times," said Srinivas Katta, General Manager of Changepond Technologies.
The extremely low profile maintained by Changepond belies its high sounding tie ups.
The company started by a former CEO of Ramco Systems S. Ramachandran seems firmly entrenched in the global sports outsourcing arena.
They also create and manage websites for other high profile clients like US Soccer and the A -1 Grand Prix.
