Valencia's 2-0 win has moved them to the fourth place in the Primera Liga with 17 points. Sevilla never threatened the league leaders Deportivo. Jose Emilio Amavisca was creating the best chances on the left and it was in the 25th minute that Diego Tristan scored from one of his passes.The best chance for Sevilla came near the end of the match from a freekick. But Deportivo goalkeeper Nuno Espirito Santo saved it to ensure his team's 1-0 victory and its place at the top of the Spanish championship.Barcelona and Malaga struggled to find the net early during their first division match on Saturday. Malaga finally opened the score in the 75th minute. Julio Dely Valdes helped Dario Silva give Malaga the advantage.Less than a minute later, Patrick Kluivert found Rivaldo inside the area and the Brazilian equalised with a neat chip and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
