Colombia beat Costa Rica 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Copa America at Trujillo in Peru.

Trujillo, Peru:

Two goals in the closing minutes of the first half gave the defending champions Colombia a comfortable 2-0 win over Costa Rica in the quarter-finals of the Copa America at Trujillo in Peru. The match was evenly balanced until 19-year-old Abel Aguilar scored in the 41st minute and Tressor Moreno then clinched the match when he won and converted a penalty two minutes into first half stoppage time. Colombia will now play Argentina on Tuesday, in the capital Lima, for a place in the final. (AP)
