Bern:
Nigel De Jong and Nourdin Boukhari scored in injury time for Ajax to beat FC Thun 4-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday, and the Dutch team's first away win in Europe in 15 matches.
With the win, Ajax was second in Group B, five points behind leader Arsenal.
"For us it was primarily important to win and to take another important step toward qualification,'' said Ajax coach Danny Blind. "We didn't begin too well, we stayed too far back and only found our confidence after our second goal.''
De Jong scored the winner in the 90th minute, shooting the ball into the top corner after being set up by Steven Pienaar.
Boukhari added another, beating Thun goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic after grabbing a backheel shot from Pienaar.
Resilient side
The resilient Swiss entered injury time at 2-2 after twice equalizing with goals from Mauro Lustrinelli and Adriano.
Ajax's Wesley Sneijder opened the scoring in the 27th minute, after Jakupovic weakly parried a header by Yannis Anastasiou. Sneijder one-timed the rebound from 14 meters into the bottom right corner, the ball clipping Armand Deumi's foot on the way in.
Thun equalized in the 56th when Lustrinelli fired it across Maarten Stekelenburg and into the corner.
But Anastasiou made it 2-1 for Ajax eight minutes later. Ryan Babel came down the left, and his center pass to Anastasiou was flicked in past Jakupovic.
The Stade de Suisse crowd erupted again when Thun leveled. Jose Goncalves surged down the left side, passing the ball to Silvan Aegerter. His shot was deflected off Tiago Bernardi to Adriano, who poked it in from close range.
The game appeared destined to end in a draw but Thun's defense tired and let down its guard in injury time.
