London:

England captain David Beckham is back in England for further tests on the wrist fracture he suffered in England's 2-1 win over South Africa in a friendly in Durban on Thursday night. Beckham was injured after landing awkwardly under a hefty first-half challenge from Thabang Molefe. Initial hospital reports suggest that he will be out of action for at least six weeks. Beckham, however, won't miss any competitive action since he was already suspended for the Euro 2004 qualifier against Slovakia next month.
