England captain David Beckham is confident that his side can win a second world cup even though the current squad is beset with injury worries.

England captain David Beckham is confident that his team can win a second world cup even though the current squad is beset with injury worries. "Potentially we've got some of the best players in the world. Young players and experienced players and, you know, that's a good mixture," said Beckham. "We've got a good mix in there, we've got a good manager, good coaching staff and amazing fans," he added. England's 2006 World Cup campaign hasn't been the smoothest. The team suffered a shock loss to Ireland in the qualifying rounds and star players Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen aren't in good health and Theo Walcott hasn't even played a premiership game.
