Baby elephants played a game of soccer in front of a cheering crowd of locals and tourists during the third international Elephant race festival, held this week in Nepal.
The elephants kick the ball around the pitch trying to score goals using their feet and even their trunks.
Each team comprised of three elephants, one being the goalkeeper, with the other animals aiming to score between the bamboo made goalposts.
The game is played in two 10-minute intervals. Elephant races have been organized for the past three years to promote tourism.
