Arsenal only need to take a point from their trip to Porto on Wednesday to qualify for the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League.
However, coach Arsene Wenger insisted at Tuesday's press conference that his side will be looking for the win.
"We have a little advantage, because we know we can beat them. But, I feel since Porto has been consistent it has gained in confidence as well, so it should be a very interesting," said Wenger.
Arsenal were beaten in last year's Champions League final, but Wenger believes that the current side are capable of clinching the cup for the first time in the team's history.
"Well, I feel that (if) we qualify we have a good chance to achieve that again because I believe that the team has the potential to do it, to repeat what we did last year and do even better for 13 minutes. But, the first step is first to qualify because we have a difficult game and I'm sure that if we do that we have a great, great chance to do it again," he said.
Although some crucial members of last season's team have left Arsenal, Wenger still believes that the current squad is good enough to go all the way.
Arsenal will top the final Group G standings as long as they avoid defeat on Wednesday, but they won't be able to take any chances against a formidable Porto team. (AP)
