Even before France won the Euro 2016 final against Portugal at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis on Sunday night, a champion team bus painted in the colours of 'Les Bleus' was seen heading to Paris.
The bus was perhaps heading to the French capital to carry the French national team - hoping the hosts won the continental championships.
France had won the Euro also in 1984 and 2000 while Portugal reached the final at home in 2004 but lost to Greece in the summit clash.
According to a report in the Mirror, a video of the bus being on French roads was shot by a motorist called Henry Legrand, showing the bus trundling along the Rennes-Angers route, possible en route to Paris.
The bus had terms like 'MERCI' and "CHAMPIONS D'EUROPE 2016" written on it which mean 'thank you' and 'European Champions 2016'.
